33 free game sound effects, downloaded straight from here

No account, no email address and no checkout. The file downloads directly from this page. These are the same files at the same levels as the paid packs, taken from them rather than made separately, so the standard can be judged before anything is bought.

What is in it

Thirty-three sounds drawn across the catalogue rather than from one pack, so the sampler covers weapon hits, interface clicks, creature noises, outdoor ambience and a few of the seasonal oddities. It is a cross-section, not a themed set.

Can I use it in a commercial game?

Yes. Royalty-free for commercial and non-commercial work, unlimited projects, no attribution required. The one restriction is that the audio files may not be resold or redistributed on their own as a sound library or pack. Full terms are on the licensing page.

What format are the files?

Uncompressed WAV, 44.1 kHz, 16-bit stereo, levelled to −1.5 dBTP true peak. WAV rather than OGG because Unity and Unreal re-encode audio at build time, so importing an already-compressed file compresses it twice and you hear the artefacts. Every file is checked for edge clicks and DC offset before release — here is why that matters.

How the sounds are made

The source audio is generated with ElevenLabs Sound Effects under a paid commercial licence. That is the starting point rather than the product: each candidate is screened by ear and by measurement, the ones that do not hold up are cut and regenerated, and the survivors are trimmed, faded, level-matched across the pack and set to −1.5 dBTP.

If the sampler is useful

The full catalogue runs to 300 sounds across twelve packs, plus a 246-sound fantasy RPG library. They are listed on the packs page, with store links on the store pages.
